Kathryn Brink, A native of Williamsport, Pennsylvania, majored in Theater Directing at the University of New Mexico. After graduating and doing an internship at The Arena Stage in Washington, DC, she worked as a producer for primarily TV commercials, music videos and interactive video games before shifting to strictly casting. Kathryn has lived and worked in New Mexico for over 30 years and knows regional actors through casting, theatre and teaching.
As a regional casting director Kathryn’s had the priviledge of working with dozens of the best casting directors as well as being the sole casting director on several feature films. International feature film directors from India, France, Germany, Ireland, UK, Mexico such as Rachid Bouchareb, Lenny Abrahamson, Marco Kreuzpaintner, Guillermo Arriaga, Markus Goller applaud her resoucefulness at finding the hidden gems and pairing the best that the Southwest has to offer. She’s worked with Lee Daniels, Walt Becker, Debra Martin Chase, Peter Segal, Stephen Sommers, Chris Eyre, Diane Frolov & Andy Schneider, Jorma Taccone on Tennessee, Wild Hogs, Lemonade Mouth, The Longest Yard, Odd Thomas, A Thousand Roads, Easy Money and MacGruber.
